Visible Path Acquired By Hoover's

Foster City-based Visible Path, which provides a service which helps business people connect with clients, has been acquired by information publisher Hoover's. Hoover's disclosed the deal today in conjunction with the launch of a new service, Hoover's Connect, powered by Visible Path's technology. Financial details of the acquisition were not provided.

Visible Path was venture backed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Menlo Ventures and Integral Capital Partners.
