Comcast To Buy Movie Ticket Site Fandango

Although the details of the exact amount of money spent have not yet been released you can bet that this deal is going to be big. Fandago, a popular destination for movie ticket buyers online will not go cheap.

Comcast plans on using the new acquisition to build a new entertainment site Fancast.com what will launch this summer and enable people to search for their favorite TV Shows, movies and actors online. Video content will be immediately accessible as well as where movies can be seen on TV, on-demand or online.

Comcast's website Comcast.net is already a very large internet destination sitting in the top 10 list of most visited sites on the internet with more than 2.5 billion page views, so this new offering is going to be a big one when coupled with their already gigantic audience.
