Intelleflex Gets Investment From Motorola

Santa Clara-based Intelleflex, a company which develops RFID technology for the logistics and yard management industry, said today that it has received an investment from Motorola as part of a Series C funding round.
Amount of the investment was not disclosed. Motorola Ventures and new investor Arcapita Ventures also participated in the round. Intelleflex's existing investors, Morgenthaler Ventures, Woodside Fund, Alloy Ventures, and Selby Venture Partners also contributed to the funding. According to Intelleflex the deal came as part of a strategic relationships between the firm and Motorola's RFID division, part of its Enterprise Mobility business. Motorola and Intelleflex said they are in a joint development deal to release new RFID products in 2008.
