Charlie has spent the last decade helping high-growth technology companies build world-class executive teams. He co-founded Kindred Partners in 2001, and his focus today as Managing Director is on recruiting best-in-class CEOs, CFOs, and GPs for tier-one teams in IT, cleantech, and biotech.
While at Kindred, Charlie has helped to build the executive teams at Amazon.com (IPO in 1997), Bloom Energy, CoalTek, Decru (acquired by Network Appliance in 2005), Endeavor, Eye-Fi, Fisker Automotive, Gilt Groupe, Good Technology (acquired by Motorola in 2006), Google (IPO in 2004), Opsware (acquired by Hewlett-Packard in 2007), Pacific Biosciences, RecycleBank, Segway, TheLadders, and Vibrant Media, among others.
Prior to Kindred, Charlie was a Principal with Ramsey Beirne Associates, where he helped to build the executive teams for companies including 360networks, Baan, Fandango, inCode, Manugistics, Scient, Tellme, ViaFone, and Vitesse.
Charlie graduated magna cum laude from Brown University in 1995 with an ScB in Geology/Biology, where he was elected to Sigma Xi, the international honor society of science and engineering. After Brown, Charlie worked as an Environmental Analyst with Parsons & Whittemore until joining Ramsey Beirne in March 1998.
