Charlie Walton
Charlie has been helping high-growth technology companies build world-class executive teams since 1998. He co-founded Kindred Partners in 2001, and his focus today as Managing Director is on recruiting best-in-class CEOs across sectors.

While at Kindred, Charlie has helped to build the executive teams at Amazon.com (IPO in 1997), Bloom Energy, CoalTek, Decru (acquired by Network Appliance in 2005), Digg, Endeavor, Eye-Fi, Gilt Groupe, Good Technology (acquired by Motorola in 2006), Google (IPO in 2004), Ning (acquired by Glam Media), Opsware (acquired by Hewlett-Packard in 2007), Pacific Biosciences (IPO in 2010), Pixable, RecycleBank, TheLadders, Topsy, and Vibrant Media, among others.

Prior to Kindred, Charlie was a Principal with Ramsey Beirne Associates, where he helped to build the executive teams for companies including 360networks, Fandango (acquired by Comcast in 2007), inCode Wireless (acquired by VeriSign in 2006), Manugistics (acquired by JDA Software in 2006), Scient (IPO in 1999), Tellme Networks (acquired by Microsoft in 2007), and ViaFone (acquired by Extended Systems in 2002).

Charlie graduated magna cum laude from Brown University in 1995 with an ScB in Geology/Biology, where he was elected to Sigma Xi, the international honor society of science and engineering. After Brown, Charlie worked as an Analyst with Parsons & Whittemore until joining Ramsey Beirne in March 1998.
